The Children’s Afterschool Center Summer Camp ran a successful fund raiser for Alex’s Lemonade, a children’s cancer fund. The children made, bought, and sold lemonade each Friday. Over the course of eight weeks, they were able to raise and contribute $110.00 to this wonderful organization.

Dear Ms. Stone,

On behalf of Child & Family Resources I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, your Center, and the parents of the children at your Center for your generous donation of 558 diapers and wipes to our Diaper Bank which serves the Morris County Community. Your generosity will move us closer to our goal of collecting the two million diapers needed this year.

Diapers are not a luxury. They are a necessity that is frequently not covered by current safety net programs such as Food Stamps, WIC, Medicaid and Medicare (except hospice). Thanks to your support The Diaper Bank at Child & Family Resources will provide diapers for vulnerable populations in our community, including babies, the disabled, and the elderly.

To date, Child & Family Resources has collected 350,000 diapers that will support children and families affiliated with our current community partners including, Children on the Green, Interfaith Council for Homeless Families, Little People's Academy, the Morris County Office of Temporary Assistance, NORWESCAP Early Head Start, Jersey Battered Women's Services, Parsippany Child Day Care Center, Catholic Charities Hope House, Homeless Solutions, Inc. and Samaritan Inn Shelter.
