Summer Camp

We are following guidelines set forth by the CDC and our local health department to ensure that our camps will be ready to serve our communities once we receive the "green light."

We're celebrating 30+ fun-filled summers caring for school aged children. Our summer camp program is a certified 10-week child care program caring for children aged 5-11 years old. Off site lake and pool swimming may be available with transportation. We are currently waiting for the State to give us guidelines about trips this summer. Each week of camp has a theme which is well planned and filled with activities that may consist of Halloween, western day, chili cook off, and cake boss fun!  All the while providing a calm nurturing atmosphere due to our low class size.

The adult counselors incorporate art, music, sports, hobbies, reading, acting, dance, yoga, and other specials into each week. Camp can be a bit much for many children. We always maintain small group numbers so each child can experience individual attention. They have fun by playing but they are also being encouraged to explore and care for each other and treat each other with kindness. We are very active with the community and are involved with many organizations’ such as Alex’s Lemonade, local animal shelters, collecting diapers for Child and Family Resources of Morris County.

Our camp has a conscience and an abundance of affection for each other. We provide educational and recreational weekly trips in our state licensed school busses or vans. Trips in the past have been to museums, ball parks, local parks, bowling, movies, water parks, the zoo, and others.

Every two weeks, parents receive a detailed calendar with all the information they need to know about the theme days and trips as well as the community projects we get involved in.

Who is admitted

Enrollment is open to all school-aged children turning 5 (by October 1) up to 14 years old. In the past we have had the pleasure of enrolling children from China to Russia and Pennsylvania to Maine. Most children are from the local schools which make it fun for the kids to spend time with each other outside of school. Many true friendships are made at camp. We treat every person who enters our doors with dignitary, kindness and tolerance.

Our camps open each morning with a quiet time from 7:00-8:30am when the children can eat breakfast, read, do school work, yoga, or have bonding time with each other. At 9:00 we begin with a light snack and start our day. Depending on each day we have daily splash time, theme time, and clubs. The kids build, paint, sing, travel, play organized sports, learn to cook, use their imaginations, relax and just enjoy summer. At 4:00pm camp swings into a smaller group ratio. At this time children choose activities for the afternoon. An afternoon snack is also provided. A camp calendar lets you see ahead of time what will be happening each day. This way if your child needs special items or if a trip is planned you will be informed. We find the more you and your child know about camp each day the better.

Please take the opportunity to come to our centers for a scheduled Open House. This is a great time to come visit our pre-operating summer program. Please pardon our appearance as the buildings are currently used for school and religious programs. They don’t reflect how they will look in June.
